Find an official vacancy notice
Start with the Gauteng Professional Job Centre and relevant public-service vacancy circulars. Check that the notice identifies the department, post, location and closing date. This guide is not a current vacancy list and does not confirm that a particular role remains open.
Clinical, administrative and technical jobs have different qualification and experience requirements. Note professional registration requirements where specified. Do not rely only on a screenshot or social-media summary that may omit part of the notice.
Record the reference and destination
Save the post reference, facility or directorate and the stated application method. Different notices may give different instructions. Use the contact details in the verified notice for questions about that post, rather than sending applications to a general department inbox.
Prepare the documents requested
Follow the current instructions concerning application forms, CVs and supporting documents. Check signatures and required fields where applicable. Do not assume that an old checklist describes the requirements of a new advert.
Explain your relevant experience
Match your examples to the duties in the notice. For service or administration, show accuracy and communication. For professional roles, describe work within your training and scope without including patient information or other confidential records.
Submit before the stated deadline
Allow time for connectivity or upload problems. Keep confirmation, the application date and a copy of the materials submitted. Check that every attachment is readable and that the reference has been entered correctly.
Use official follow-up instructions
Respect the process and response guidance in the advert. Verify unexpected messages independently before supplying further information. iEvo does not accept government applications or influence recruitment decisions; the department’s official process applies.
