Distinguish retail and professional roles
A retail service position and a pharmacy role can have very different qualification requirements. Read the exact notice, including any professional credentials. Do not assume experience in one area automatically meets the requirements of another.
Show customer and operational skills
For retail applications, relevant examples may involve assisting a customer, organising stock or completing accurate records. Explain what you did and how you checked the task. If your example comes from voluntary or school work, label the setting clearly.
Prepare specialist information carefully
For pharmacy or another specialist application, identify the qualification and registration information the employer requests. Keep details accurate and supply documents through the verified route. Never include confidential customer or patient material in a portfolio or CV.
Check the practical conditions
Read location and working-hours requirements before applying. Consider travel and availability honestly. Ask about the role’s duties, onboarding and performance expectations if you proceed to interview.
Submit a focused application
Adapt the CV to the role, follow the portal instructions and check the final attachment. Keep a record of the reference, submission date and version you used. If you create a general profile, check whether you must also apply separately to a vacancy.
