Decide what a useful platform must offer
Write down your role family, location, experience and preferred work arrangement before comparing sites. If you are looking for junior customer support, a platform dominated by senior engineering roles may not be the best use of your time.
Run the same search on each source
Use similar terms on two or three platforms and compare a small sample of results. Note how many match your location and level. This is a personal fit check, not a ranking of platform quality or a claim about how many people get hired.
Inspect the actual vacancy

Compare the time and cost involved

Look beyond a salary headline
Clarify the currency, payment period, guaranteed amount and employment arrangement. Ask about hours, equipment and who handles administrative obligations. A foreign-currency figure cannot be compared fairly with a local package by looking at the number alone.
Create a repeatable shortlist
Record the role, eligibility, hours, application route and questions that remain. Remove opportunities you cannot verify or do not qualify for. Revisit your chosen sources weekly and replace ones that consistently provide irrelevant results.
Use platforms as one part of your search
